The Owner’s Story
Shiketa Jenkins has spent a lifetime committed to giving back to the community. From her early years, she was inspired by the work of her father, mother, and other family members helping the elderly and others who often get marginalized. Through her own work throughout the years, she has made it her mission to make a difference in people’s lives.
Her current focus has been on Maryland’s Community First Choice program. Having started as a Supports Planner herself, to directing one of the largest providers of Supports Planning, Shiketa understands Supports Planning from top to bottom! Moving on to start her own agency, with the values and vision imbued to her by her father, mother, and family, is now allowing her to give back to the community even more!
It is her strong belief that in order to be more efficient with helping those receiving services in the Community First Choice program, it takes someone who focuses solely on serving that program. She also knows that the best Supports Planners are those that are supported by positive leadership and vision.
